The Liberty

The Liberty stacks a complete living space above a new garage, turning vertical square footage into functional housing without consuming additional yard. It’s available in two configurations: a studio apartment above a single-car garage (4A), or a full two-bedroom apartment above a two-car garage (4B). Both solve the same problem — you need covered parking and you need living space, but your lot doesn’t have room for two separate structures.

The Liberty 4A places a studio apartment above a one-car garage with dedicated storage areas and under-stair storage. The upper level is accessed by an interior staircase that opens into an open-concept kitchen, living, and sleeping area. Full-size appliances, a complete bathroom with washer/dryer, and French doors opening onto a private balcony give this compact plan everything a single occupant or couple needs. The exterior features a steep gabled roofline with standing-seam metal, white board-and-batten siding, and the look of a modern carriage house.

The Liberty 4B scales up significantly — a full two-bedroom apartment above a two-car garage. The lower level accommodates two vehicles in a 465-square-foot garage bay plus a 55-square-foot enclosed storage room. Upstairs, 524 square feet of living space divides into two 90-square-foot bedrooms on one side, a shared 50-square-foot bathroom between them, and a 221-square-foot kitchen and living area with dishwasher and balcony access. From the street, it reads as an upscale two-car garage with a modern farmhouse apartment above — white siding, metal roof, oversized windows, and clean balcony railing.
