The Cardinal

The Cardinal is the plan that adapts to your family. Available as a comfortable one-bedroom (2A) or a full two-bedroom (2B), it covers the range between “I need a private suite for one person” and “I need a small home for two.” Both variants share a farmhouse-inspired exterior with mixed-material siding and standing-seam metal roofing, but they deliver very different living experiences inside.

The Cardinal 2A puts its roughly 600 square feet to work as a generous one-bedroom home on a 24′ x 25′ footprint. The 177-square-foot kitchen and living area handles full-size appliances and a dining table. The bedroom is sized for a king bed with a dedicated closet and windows on two walls. A 56-square-foot bathroom with full tub/shower rounds out the plan. The exterior blends horizontal natural wood siding with dark vertical metal panels under a shed-style roofline — contemporary, clean, and designed to complement a range of main home styles.

The Cardinal 2B expands to 30′ x 33′ and adds a second bedroom without sacrificing the things that make the 2A livable. The primary bedroom grows to 181 square feet with a king bed, while the 120-square-foot second bedroom handles a queen comfortably. The two bedrooms sit at opposite ends of the plan connected by a central hallway, giving each room real separation and privacy. The 237-square-foot kitchen and living area includes a dishwasher, and a row of clerestory windows pours natural light into the space. Outside, the 2B presents a clean white farmhouse silhouette with board-and-batten siding, a metal gabled roof, and a covered front porch with glass entry doors.
